The reason JL is getting talked about as QB is simple

The reason is obvious. People who know anything about football can see that JJ isn't a QB.

It really has little to do with Lee. ANY fan of a team with JJ as their QB would be wondering what else was out there. Lee could quit tomorrow and we would STILL be hoping for something other than JJ.

This isn't a knock on JJ personally. I kinda like the kid. He seems to have heart and if he plays, we'll get the best he has to offer. Unfortunately, that just really isn't all that much.

If JJ is truly the best alternative we have for the next 2 years, then they'll be a rough 2 years. People know this. THAT is why they wonder about Lee. He's simply the alternative.

JJ played poorly in a spring game.

It's amazing what a good o-line and running game can do.

Agree, but I hope I am wrong. Also, as I have said before if CG can't compete with those two...could be three more years like the past two if Zach Lee isn't the real deal.

Then argue it.

GC sucks arse.

You go ahead and complain about JJ, JL, CG, RP - whomever the heck you want to.

Ignore the root of the problem. I expect nothing less of you.

You do have to question whether he can "coach up" his quarterbacks. What has he accomplished here that leads anyone to believe that he is a "great" QB coach.

I hope these great kids do well. But from a football standpoint it is not so much how poorly they played or didn't play in the spring game. It is the fact that neither one has ever really play well or had a great game. They have been good at times, bad at times, but average most of the time.

Nothing. Simply nothing.

But it's easier on some simple minds to blame every player and throw each and every one of them under the bus when needed.

wonder why he has been in pros and why he is now at LSU? somebody much more important and knowledgable than you disagrees

Hate to break it to you.... but playing qbs before they are ready to play is the root of the problem.
