alright, this one might have blown my mind the most, because I have easily watched BOTH of these movies HUNDREDS of times.

that's right you got it. He's the "bonehead" that Mr. Buehller is trying to get to spend the money while waiting for a cab right outside of Chez Quis.
I don't know how I've seen these movies and never caught this.

That doesn't look like the same guy to me. The first one is very tall -- played Kramer in "Jerry."
