I find it odd that not only did football somehow get caught up in all of this, but that the players being urged to "de-commit" have already signed LOIs.

I know stuff like this allows some of you to sleep better at night but the fact is. is that racism does exsist. Alot of times right before I very eyes. Even if you cant identify it doesnt mean that isnt there.

I absolutely agree. But this is the type of stuff that proves the me that the race card is used FAR too much.
The reasoning behind all this is just stupid. I don't see how the people, or the reporter that wrote this, thinks this is even newsworthy.

You hit the nail on the head buddy. In this day and age we now have more racism directed towards whites and it is actually allowed becuase the minorties play up to the whites who still feel sorry for them. Until we really look at each other as equals and quit making special laws and rules then there will never be true equality.

Those urging the players to decomit know damn well it's not going to happen. They just know if they throw it out there the press will pick it up and make a big deal out of it so they get the publicity they are seeking.

I think people have a problem when people stand up for themselves. Blacks are underepresented on that board and they took a stand. They are trying to hit them where they will feel it.(football). There is no reason at all there should be an all white board when almost 30% of the population is black. I really don't see the problem with them boycotting.
