I don't know of any, and I've never heard of Jager Haus. Where is it?

Wilkommen to JägerHaus!

I would like to invite you to the only German restaurant New Orleans has to offer. Our specialty is authentic home-style Bavarian and Bohemian cuisine. In addition, JägerHaus is also the only full service Lavazza coffee shop in New Orleans.

When you visit our cozy German bistro in New Orleans, you will feel like you just stepped in to a nice little restaurant off the square somewhere in the middle of Munich or Prague.

JägerHaus is a family-run French Quarter restaurant. My mom’s excellent cooking inspired me to offer her favorite dishes to our locals and visitors alike. Come try for yourself what New Orleans food enthusiasts have discovered already.

Prost!

From their website. The only game in town apparently.

It's okay. It feels like a euro coffee shop/bar, which is its best characterist.

Tigre, that sounds disgusting.

I went about a year ago, don't recall seeing that on the menu. Weinerschnitzel was average at best. They did have some good german beer on tap. The best feature was the blue/white coffee menu lit up on the wall like the ones at all the coffee shops accross the pond.

but the good part is that if you sit at the bar and order one Gabe Northern grabs the whole burger, stands on the bar, and crams it down your throat.

anyone? anyone?
