Australian

Dirk is probably the best

I've heard Sabonis was insane when he was young, but it's hard to know because he didn't come over to the US until he was already pretty old and had bad knees

Pietrus is in the discussion for top 10.

I'm not sure if Z is Asian or European...

And Sabonis was the bomb before his knees turned to jelly. If he had entered the NBA in his early 20s he'd have been a HoF lock.

Lithuania had a ton of great players back then. Sabonis was supposedly coming to LSU until it fell thru.

Who is Z?

No doubt. He will be in the HOF and considered one of the best PFs ever. He is definitely the best shooting big man already.

No doubt. Sabonis in his prime would have been very close. Dirk as well.

Marius Janulis from Lithuania killed Iona in the 1998 1st round of the NCAAs. The 12 seed Gaels were up 61-60 against 5 seed Syracuse when Janulis hit a 3 with 1.2 seconds left. All we had to do was rebound the missed shot, but the ball was slapped outside and Janulis hit the 3. Syracuse won 63-61.

Detlef Schrempf made a couple of All Star Teams. He's probably just outside the Top 10.

Does Bird not count in this category?

Good call.

Rik Smits probably just misses the top 10.
