Saw this movie tonight with a few friends. Going in I was hoping that the storyline was somehow different then the original Alice in Wonderland. Wasnt disappointed, different storyline, a few things relating back to the original story. I overall liked the movie, but when i go to see movies i rarely find a movie i didnt like.

meh. the visuals were amazing, but the storyline left something to be desired.

I was very unentertained by this movie. Can't put my finger on why. Alice is my favorite of the animated Disney features, too. Maybe I set the bar too high.

i've grown rather tired of Tim Burton
must be getting too old

Tim Burton's formula:
1. Borrow from an old story, movie, play, etc. but give it a darker twist.
2. Cast Johnny Depp.
3. Add kooky gothic visuals.
4. Repeat.
The only original film he's made in the last decade was Big Fish. Even Corpse Bride was just a rehash of Nightmare.

saw it last night in 3d..overall pretty good I guess.
I selfishly wish the movie was more for adults -- there were just some parts that were extremely cheesy (esp at the end) that made me kind of roll my eyes. I expected it to be pretty dark, but it really wasn't -- and I think it would have been cooler if they linked the wonderland characters to compare them to people in her normal life

I felt like we were getting the ending of LOST through the story.

I thought the movie was great.. More of a combination of the first and second books.
Funny how everyone forgot about "Through the Looking Glass" when saying it was a diff story. Just seems like he combined a bit of both books.
