On raginpagin, one guy says it's because we beat Tulane 3-2 at home in 2000 and that was one a major reason we got to host a regional or something to that extent and Jones heard that and said he'd never play us at home again or something.
But, those guys are as delusional as the rant sometimes so I don't know if that's part of it. I don't know how much bad blood is there, we went play yall in NOLA last year... and won. fwiw.

Honestly the coaching staffs do not get along at ALL... I am sure Jones is happy if yall want to come to new orleans and play but he is not giving up a home game gate to play an in state school that he hates...

It's not a secret that Jones and Robo don't get along. In fact, alot of coaches think Robo is a hot head and have no respect for him or his program.
To answer your question about why Tulane traveled to USA and won't go to Laffy. It is because Tulane owed USA a game from the '06 season. Jones also nixed the trips to Thibodaux about 3 years ago because of travel time during the week. I guess Tulane is scared of Nicholls also?

Robe is respected by most people, I've seen him get angry during a game maybe 5 times since I've been watching them. Tulane's coach is just a sissy cuckold who is afraid of the Cajuns domination of Tulane.
