They've lost two conference games.
That's why they shouldn't be considered.
Also, Cal's considered one of their best wins (says it all). The only other really good ones (and I use that term loosely) are BYU and A&M.

how do you know? im not saying new mexico is a one seed but i dont think duke would do any variation of what you said to them.
