Anybody know where a good place to get some live crawfish w/in an hour of BR is?

the prices in BR are ridiculous right now. I know they're cheaper in some smaller towns and im willing to drive. Need to get like 100 lbs for St. Paddy's weekend.

I figure heading towards acadiana is my best bet, but all opinions are welcome.

thanks

*I posted this on the food board, but got nothing... also its technically not food until i cook em.

somebody was saying Krotz Springs the other day. I'd wait until next week to really start looking though.

What do you call ridiculous?

Prices should be down this next weekend and they will probably go down more the following weekend.

What are prices right now? Not thinking about a boil for a couple of weeks but picking up 5pounds boiled wouldnt be a bad idea.

I love how you still have that dude quoted as your sig from last season.

5 lbs should be around $20 now boiled.

Breaux Bridge. It is the crawfish capital of the world.

$3/lb same as Tony's and others around BR.
Hopefully there's another 50 cent drop in prices after this weekend again.

lows are supposed to be in the 50's next week, should mean a rise in farming and a drop in pricing
