Doesn't that say something about what LSU thinks about BR products Zach Olvier and Stevie Douglas, who have not been offered?

That Driskel is a much better talent than both of them? Why offer someone right now, like Oliver, who would commit right on the spot than wait to offer them and go after the bigger guns like Driskel, Bridgewater, Frazier, etc.?

No, I think it means that Driskel blew up at the Elite 11 camp and LSU offered to open the line of communication.

we haven't gotten an "elite" pure QB since Perilloux. Though we have depth, we're still looking for that great qb. We'll continue looking at Qb's still somebody steps up and proves themselves

I would hope and think that it means that the staff knows there is zero reason to offer an in-state player right now when you can pick up one in November-December. It may be easier to recruit a great QB with no QB verbals.

Zach Lee from this past recruiting class was rated pretty high. I would consider him elite.

Lee is definitely elite... Elite enough that I could care less if we get a QB this class if he makes it to campus

Driskel is probably going to be a 5 star talent. I haven't watched much film on him, but he has everything you want from what I saw of him in his Elite 11 video. His release is one of the quickest I've seen in awhile (especially for someone his size).
And yes, he will not consider a school that will not allow him to play baseball.
