Can Duke make the Final 4 this year?

The more I watch this DUKE team, the more and more I really like them. They have a trio of perimeter players who all are averaging over 17PPG in Scheyer, Singler, and Smith. They also have gotten solid post play and rebounding from Zoubek, Lance Thomas, and the Plumlee brothers.
I know there are a lot of Duke haters out there, but seriously how far do you guys think this Duke team can go this year? They have pretty much cake walked through the ACC so far. I think they are one of about 10 teams that are good enough to make the Final 4. It will all depend on how their big 3 plays in big game situations.

if the big three are making shots, they can make it all the way.
but if one or two of them isn't on, they won't be able to hang with a team that has a strong inside game.

Sounds about right. Match-ups and the actual performances of the big 3 will be the determining factor. Also, whether Zoubek can avoid foul trouble.

Their biggest concern is stopping the inside game. While they have a little more depth at the 4 and 5 than the last few years, foul trouble could haunt them. Seeing what Georgetown did to them scares me if they play another team with similar personnel.

on a serious note, they CAN make it, and are one of a select group that actually have a realistic shot.

If Z can keep it up in the boards yes they can. Good thing about them so far is if one of the big threes is off, the other 2 stepped up. Duke, Cuse, Uk, Ku would be ideal in the final 4.

Sweet 16 ...They can make the final 4 but i dont think they will. Of course it will come down to matchups. Plus i dont know how comfortable I am with assessing how good they really are with the ACC being down this year. I wonder if it fools goal the way theyve been playing.

People are overusing the term down term. Is there less top teams in the ACC yes but they will still get 7-8 teams into the dance. Same as big east most probably
