Ruffino's Cooking Lessons

Posted by real slim on 6/12/10 at 11:27 am
I was wondering what the price of the lessons were and if anyone would recommend them. Is it a good idea for a gift?
Osborne has been amazing this year, I just wish they had something else behind him to take out Texas.

This is what happens when you are no longer getting arse between every round like he was before...serious injury

yea the issue seems to be more about the pitchers missing their spots with those pitches not necessarily the pitch calling.
You do realize we took a huge hit with both Von Rosenberg and Colvin signing. Also, Watkins is included in the class and before he got hurt I would say he was contributing. The fact that there were only two positions up for grabs (three if you want to include first) doesn't allow much room for those freshmen to step up.
I really would like to see Hanover work out of this slump hes in and the pitchers to keep the ball down in the zone. We are getting smashed because we are missing spots and leaving the ball up around the belt...I agree with Adam though, we aren't far off, some minor tweaking will get us right back on track.

I think Money is a great fighter, but there does seem to be a lack of true contenders as well.
I do like places that give you ample legroom too, nothing worse than having someone's knee in your back the whole game
beer that is not 6.75 but we all know that will never change so I would have to go with restrooms as well

link crashed on me in the middle of round 4...anyone still has one working?
I like Kyle Peterson and Orel Hershiser when they are in the booth. I know they repeat a lot of the same facts over and over about LSU, but at least they have played ball at a high level and can give good insight into why some decisions are made or keys to a game. The announcer from the Friday broadcast said that the players were unaware of the bat change over the fall and they just swing whatever is given to them. He said that the coaches were the only ones informed that the composite bats were no longer allowed.

I tuned in late but what was stuck up TJ's arse he was just looking off into the distance then stood up to walk away while still on camera...did I miss something?
I think if the movement comes from the grip and having it just roll off the fingers there is no major risk with it. Its when you start snapping your wrist and getting your elbow away from your body that you see the most trouble. Also, like a couple of people have already said, it depends on the amount you throw. If 8-10 of the 60 pitches a kid throws are curve balls, I don't think there is a big problem with it. To give an age I would say 11 or 12.

re: Ryan Theriot

I went to a couple of the games in Atlanta this week and Theriot looked very good defensively. He was getting frustrated at the plate because he hit 4 or 5 balls right at someone, but didn't have a hit all series. I hope he keeps the defense up because he will start getting some breaks at the plate
He went three complete and started the fourth but gave up a solo home run and then reached his pitch count so they put in Matulis. He had 4 Ks I believe and overall he looked pretty sharp for the limited action hes gotten this season. He got into a couple of jams but some nice defensive plays got him out.

I think it will be a tough challenge but Baylor is a streaky shooting team as well. It will come down to the last 2 minutes in my opinion
Yea its done now, but if true that is amazing especially with the upsets.

Is he saying that they were planning on someone passing him up on the depth chart but Lee is not letting it happen?

Where is he projected to start the year at? AA?
what about kenramsey.com? is that site still up?
Their biggest concern is stopping the inside game. While they have a little more depth at the 4 and 5 than the last few years, foul trouble could haunt them. Seeing what Georgetown did to them scares me if they play another team with similar personnel.
