Is it a good movie for me to go see this weekend. Big fan of The Departed and Leo as well as Goodfellas and Taxi Driver.

Great movie. I streamed it this morning before class. Alot of twist and turns.

I wont touch the other thread cause I've heard the ending is sick.

You MUST go see it. I saw it Saturday night and I'm still talking about it with friends.

none
there is a reason it only has 67% on RT while being a scorcese movie (which prolly give a 20% bump of the real rating)

Actually, if a no name had directed this movie it would be a 90% but when a legend like Marty makes a movie that doesn't live up to his past endeavors it gets a 67%. IMO

major critics blow big-name directors, esp in "Big" movies with big name actors

Rotten tomatoes critics suck. If you choose to see or not see a movie becuase of shorty critics then you cannot appreciate film.

i didn't check RT until after i had seen the movie and talked this movie over with film snobs from another board (who agree with me)
mediocre movie on a normal scale...on a scale of elite films, it is a 2 or 3

It was a little too similar to another movie with a similar ending, but I still liked it.

Quit trying to a act like you are better than everyone by pointing out that you discuss movies with "film snobbs." The movie was great. Just because other film junkies agreed with you doesn't mean the majority of them id. In fact I'm sure most of them disagreed with you.

Was there supposed to be a link there?
Posted on 2/22/10 at 7:12 pm to WG_Dawg
no. I caught it on justin.tv but I did not save the channel.

Ok...well I didn't like it. That's just me. Matter a fact I hated it. And I watch a lot of films. Again, just an opinion and frick what Rotton Tomatoes thinks. Judge for yourself.
