advice would be to look around on this board...not just the top 5 or 6 threads.

We really need to make a list and sticky it. I haven't eaten at all of these, but these are the ones that I remember being regularly mentioned and nearly all positive comments.

Louisiana Lagniappe - Seafood
Ginos - Italian
Ruffinos - Italian
Flemings - Steak
Mason's Grill - Burgers
Bay Leaf - Indian
Sushi Yama - Sushi
Ichiban - Hibachi
Tokyo Cafe - Hibachi

if either of you are new to indian, try the lunch buffet. they have a variety. its a little pricey for a normal buffet, but its due to better food quality. its worth it. besides, you are balling. you got that.

some of my fav places in no particular order:

chelsea's, sammy's, heads & tails, bistro byronz, opies, rotollo's

a little more pricey (20 bucks or more per person)

bay leaf, ginos, stroubes, french market bistro, sushi yama
