If McKnight is to have success on the next level, the team and system he falls in may be the main factor. 15 touches a game type back with return ability. He will likely never be an "every down back" but i think everyone already knows this . Personally I think he would fit nice in New England as the future Kevin Faulk. Kevin is up there in age now and they have really used him a lot in the passing game. The right fit is key for McKnight.

A short list of good fits:
Green Bay, Seattle, New England, Houston, Jets, Chargers. Chargers will likely look more towards the so called "every down back" however.

I think the keys to Faulk's longevity and success are his blocking, receiving and ball protection skills. McKnight sucks at 2 of those 3. Don't you think?

no disrespect intended here, but if Im a "board" policeman, I would ask: "Why is a USC RBs transition the the NFL noteworthy on the LSU Recruiting Board"?

I guess the answer is he's from Louisiana.

Agreed but two of those are fixable for sure. In fact the Hoodie loves great value with players that may have flaws that are deemed fixable. McKnight has more wiggle and speed and comparable receiving skills. A little coaching in the right system and it could be a nice fit.

I think he'd be a pretty good fit in Miami also. 3rd RB his rookie year behind Ronnie and Ricky, kick returner also, then both of those guys will be gone after this year.

Sporting News is full of retards. They said that InCrompotent was the #2 QB in this draft.

McKnight will probably slip inot the later rounds probably 5-7. dont be suprised to see Petey grab him if he is still there in the 5th round.

so he is just like Bush.

just throwing this out, what if the Saints let Bush go so they don't have to pay his bonus, and draft McKnight?

so you'd rather a worse version of Reggie? I'd rather the Saints keep a player who's actually shown he can play in the league and did way, way more in college

and pay him the highest RB salary in the league? I wouldn't mind the Saints taking Joe in the later rounds but not early. I would love Dexter in the second or third.

I think he'd be a great fit for the Saints if we don't keep Bush.
