I base this list on not only film, but potential and what I have heard from scouts.

1. La'El Collins
2. Anthony Johnson
3. Jarvis Landry
4. Jermauria Rasco
5. Kenny Hilliard
6. Alonzo Lewis
7. Greg Robinson
8. Quentin Thomas
9. Bradley Sylve
10. Mickey Johnson
11. Jeremy Hill
12. Terrence Magee
13. Chucky Hunter
14. Renaldo Thomas
15. Odell Beckam Jr.

I know people are gonna say why is Lewis is so high? I was told by a nfl scout, that if he was in the East St. John's offense he would be a top 5 receiver easy in the nation. His team throws the ball 5 to 10 times a game thats all, he is a athletic freak and could play safety or receiver at LSU.

Only ones I see we have any chance of losing are Rasco, Johnson, Hunter.
Great list

Good list Diggs. The one thing that stuck out to me was how high you have Alonzo Lewis. What was you reasoning there? I heard he didn't look that great at the Army combine,so just wondering what you thought. I also saw you left Ryan off the list,do you think he has a chance at getting an offer at safety?

Alonzo Lewis struggled a bit at the combine but you have to understand that he is working with guys who probably play on spread offensive teams. He is not used to pass catching as much as the other guys, and for his forty guys just run bad sometimes due to weather or the field conditions. Ryan went to a combine last saturday and ran a time that he ran as a freshman, it was 29 degrees with wind blowing in Mobile. I have Ryan in the late teens, I can not put him in front of the guys who have LSU offers. As for Stevie Douglas, I really like that kid as a person and his film. Not sure he gets an offer but I hope so.

Diggs,

Good list. You're spot on about Lewis. He's probably the most athletic person in the state next year and might have the highest ceiling of anyone.

Douglas is too skinny. He would get killed in the SEC.

he ran almost a 5.0 40 and even w/ his offense he's a non-factor. Top 5 WRs are gonna shine

Hunter vs. Johnson

Hunter commands double teams and is more of a plugger similar to Marlon Favorite.

M. Johnson has the feet and explosion off the line to not only be a run stopper but also get to the qb. My comparison to Mickey would be a mix between Dorsey and Nevis.

There is no doubt both these guys could play at LSU but do they want to take four instate defensive tackles?(Freak,Thomas,Johnson and Hunter)

I would have to slightly disagree, I have seen both play in person. I honestly don't see how Hillard is ranked so low on scout. He is the total package. In saying this though Hill is right behind him but I still think that hill will be our next great Linebacker. His measureables are of the chart.

They need to take 4 instate DTs. We have herd there just hasn't been many quality DT's in La over the last 6 years so if you have them you better take them. Recshirt 2 if need be.

I would agree because Nevis is know a Senior and after down we really dont have that kind of intestity at DT to keep up the next few years.

La HS has 5-6 good D-1 prospects for DT. We should load up and take 4.

I agree, I don't think we got anyone projected at DT in the last class......
