Yea a rookie fresh out of Ole Miss is way better than than a 4 year Superbowl Champ. Awesome idea. The whole trade Reggie thing is assanine to me. Draft a young prospect and in 4 years your in the same position. Pay the man his money and focus on a repeat.

Saints have the money and yes I understand the whole 8 mil to Reggie hurts our chances of signing FA's, but the people that are paid to set up contracts will do their job and I have faith that Reggie will be satisfied with the new deal. If he doesnt oh well what can we do?? But IMO the whole trade Reggie and draft Dex talk is retarded.

honestly, i think reggie restructures
only way i see him leaving is through a trade and some team (like seattle) would have to offer a few nice picks or a player for the saints to reconsider parting ways
