I'd like to see us trade him to the Denver Broncos for Elvis Dumervil, a pass-rushing specialist DE/OLB who had 17 sacks in 15 games, leading the league.

He only would fit in a 3-4 system. He is too small to play as a 4-3 DE.

A) the saints and Williams have frequently shifted to a 34 D, many times this season and having one of those tweener OLB's would be a good use of a roster spot IMO

B) It's not going to be Dumervil cause he wants to much money, and is RFA anyway. We would have to pay him and give up draft compensation to the Broncos.

C) I say 75% chance Denver works out a longterm deal with him anyway before the March 5th tender date anyway.

If he won't restructure, get rid of him. Get another 1st round pick or someone comparable on defense in salary on defense.
I believe we should kick in some more money for Pierre and Bell.
How many points did Bush give us this year, and what would we be losing on offense, losin Bush.

Considering they are both RFAs you are going to have to give them a raise of some kind to keep them

It's nothing against Reggie. I'd rather keep the oline intact though. Take your pick, one of the best olines in the NFL or Reggie Bush.

oh and right back at you

What spot do we draft. A lot of comments seem to assume certain players will be available at all times. The drawback of being so good is that it hurts you in the free agent market.

Right now it's best for the Saints to keep what they have at the majority of the positions.

IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON"T FIX IT. or at least not too much

We jsut beat a team that basically went undefeated in the league! WE ARE GREAT, REALLY VERY SOLID>

OLB or DE big needs, all else will do as long as Drew is healthy.
