i think its

livingston
downs
nevis
agahyere (sp?)

I really like our starting DT's this year. I think one thing that could really take our D to the next level is a good rush DE. Hopefully one of these guys we have can step it up.

Personally, I have little faith in livingstons ability to do so, so hopefully someone can really stand out and make a name for themselves this year.

1st. Aghayere, Downs, Nevis, Montgomery
2nd. Brockers, davenport, Edwards, Levingston
I would love to see Ego and copleand contribute though. Nobodies job is set in stone except for maybe Nevis. however it turns out, the d line is gunna be crazy

Aww heck. Lemme have a crack at this.

Strong End
Lavar Edwards 6-4 265 so
J.R. Ferguson 6-3 280 fr he’s ready to play now, had a year at Hargrave
Jordan Allen 6-5 260 fr
3rd and Long:
Barkevious Mingo 6-5 215 fr
Justin Maclin 6-4 230 fr

Tackles
Drake Nevis 6-2 300 sr
Chris Davenport 6-4 310 fr
J.C. Copeland 6-2 260 fr Who knows how big this guy is. I put him at 260 for no reason.

Josh Downs 6-3 280 so

Chancey Aghayere 6-4 280 so
Bennie Logan 6-3 260 fr

Weak End
Sam Montgomery 6-5 250 fr

REALLY excited about year two for The Chief on defense.

As an aside, has Florida hired a new DC yet? Wondring if Chavis would be in their sights.

Edwards
Nevis
Brockers
Levingston (although some have said he's switching to DT)

CA
Downs
Davenport
Montgomery

Don't know how a line with Nevis and Downs at DT would hold up against the run. Both are the quick lighter DT and need a good 300 pounder in there. Don't see how Levingston loses his starting spot if he stays at DE.

I agree with others, Edwards is our best DE, maybe our best D-lineman.

Including Les Miles

Why would Brockers play at DT over Downs when Downs played this season and Brockers redshirted?

This is going to be the starting lineup.

DE Edwards
DT Levingston
DT Nevis
DE Slammin Sam vs. Aghyere is a spring/ fall position battle that Les Miles will not reveal until the first game.

Downs will be the first DT off the bench followed by Brockers then Davenport/Copeland (if hes not redshirted which he likely will be)

By moving pep and brockers inside and with the additions of copeland and ego, I really like our line and our future lines. Can't wait until we add the 2011 dline recruits in the mix.

We just have to keep our Dlinemean on the damn Dline.

Mingo may be used as a third down rush specialist at DE.
