Really? Do we have to go this route now? The only "nation" I had heard before this year was Red Sox nation and Raider nation and I thought they were both stupid.

I've been a bigger fan than you chumps for 30 years and it was never referred to as Who Dat Nation.
Just because it's saints related doesn't mean it has to be all good. Quit being mindless homers.

Seems to fit!

na tion
–noun 1. a large body of people, associated with a particular territory, that is sufficiently conscious of its unity to seek or to possess a government peculiarly its own: The president spoke to the nation about the new tax.
2. the territory or country itself: the nations of Central America.
3. a member tribe of an American Indian confederation.
4. an aggregation of persons of the same ethnic family, often speaking the same language or cognate languages.

So everyone who (dat) is a Saints fan has to think this sounds cool?
To call your fan base a "nation" is arrogant. (But I'm sure that makes me a bad fan or less of a fan than you guys).

Leaning to less of a fan considering you have never heard of this until this year.

Mindless? Yep, because there is so much originality from the geniuses on here.
I just love how some people can't take anyone with a differing opinion from theirs.
If every single person on here thinks it sounds cool then everyone on here is a "mindless" sheep.

Granted I moved from La in 1998 but have followed the Saints very closely since then.
Maybe it would have been accurate to say that NATIONALLY it has never been referred to as "nation" like the Red Sox and Raiders have.
