Ryan Baker made a few big tackles on the kickoff team in 2007..now he's all of a sudden a "stud"?

please watch the goal line stand against Mississippi State. he was a big part of the final play getting stuffed.

I agree, he was huge on one play. He will still have to learn quickly.
Is KS for sure going to play middle? Guess that would be determined by Minters and Bakers progress to get the best players on the field.
Coleman's role. Francois? Could Hatcher play here if B. Taylor wins the SS position? Don't here anything about D. Bryant, could he slide down to OLB? LB and OL will interesting this Spring.

1.) If the quarterback sticks his arms out, touchdown.
2.) He left his man wide open the play before. Thank you Chad Jones for tipping the ball and saving a touchdown.
I'm not saying he isn't going to be good. I think he has great potential. That said, he is still unproven.

believe it or not, someone said Rocky Duplessis is a pretty good linebacker.

how about Kevin Minter? Will he be an impact player this season?
Posted on 2/5/10 at 8:59 pm to cepheid
Big Nasty(CA) said Rockey D. and Minter were up and comers. Baker ready to step up,too.

CJM glad we talking LB's. Had more JJ haters to beat down today. No patience. They Dont want to hear reasons its just a Fail at all cost.

Does Maclin have a shot at beating out Francois?
Posted on 2/5/10 at 11:31 pm to cepheid
Francois os supposed to take Coleman's spot. I think he will do well there. He is quick enough to be OLB.

Wherever the football is on the field, you will always find Ryan Baker close by. Baker just has the "it factor" and is going to be a great player. He has the intangibles that the good players have. With great coaching ,he will stand out.

Yep, this is what Chavis projects. Minter is going to see a lot of PT. There are lots of bodies in the LB corps, but very little game experience. I wouldn't be surprised to see Karnell Hatcher play a bit of both SS and WLB.
