Your last comment makes no sense, why does Az inabailty to score more than 14 indicate the Saints run D was or was not good? Az got behind early, cause their D ain't very good either and once behind they had to throw. Sorry but the Saints run D isn't any good. One of the reason me and my friends really wanted the Cardnials in the first round is because their run O isn't any good and frankly one of the reasons I think the colts are a better match-up for the Saints is because their running O is so-so as well.

The Cardinals were only down 21-14, half way through the 2nd Quarter. Still plenty of time to establish a running game (down by one score)- if you believed you could do so. They only ran the ball 15 times total during the game. If you take out the one long run (70 Yards by Hightower), the Cardinals only had 14 carries for 31 yards.
They abandoned the run because we adjusted to it - we did a nice job against the run. They couldn't establish it consistently - no reason to blame it on the Cardinals falling behind quickly.
