Yeah, our whole defensive staff sucked last year! They were a bunch of idiots, especially when it came to Dline recruits and coaching them.

I believe it was stated many times last year that there were several reasons why we didn't recruit him early on...more than just grades. But that was last year, lets move on.

I don't see where an excuse is needed. You would need an excuse for why he picked one team over another, or for losing him. But if that's the reason our coaches didn't offer him, then it is what it is...no excuse needed. You may disagree with the decision our coaches made, that's fine, but saying it's an excuse doesn't make sense.

I swear to god if I was this kid and I read the shite some of you people say about him and I'd sign with Troy. The guy has a huge upside, we can afford to take a chance, and we could end up with the next Demarcus Ware.

If he is not sure he wants to be here, I say we cut ties.

We have sick DLine talent coming in next year. No reason to use the spot on Blackmon if he is not sure.

If he is iffy he will get here and end up unhappy and a bust.

I think we had some pretty good dts committed last year so we weren't going to hold a spot for him.
