He also remodeled the place a little bit.

His lamb shank is really nice on Fridays.

They've been doing the pizza for a while now, but that's not what I'm going to order at a Greek & Lebanese cafe.

I stopped there yesterday for a chicken shwarma sandwich, great as always.

Why not? Greeks and Lebanese eat lots of pizza.

If I want pizza, I'll go to a place that only makes pizza. If I'm going to stop by a Lebanese place, it's because I'm generally in the mood for gyro meat and hummus.

That's because they don't make it in-house, they buy it already prepared. First time I was going to order it, my buddy that cooks there basically told me to not even bother.

Just curious, I have heard that the owner is a devout Muslim, how are they going to serve pizzas with all of those pork products on them?

Beef pepperoni.

Nothing in the restaurant is haram.

I've been friends with the owner for over 10 years.

How exactly does knowing that a Muslim-owned restaurant won't use pork in their food make me an expert on "everything"?

If posting in less than 1% of threads on the Food Board makes me an expert on everything, okay.

If he wants to continue some bizarre argument in a food board thread, that's up to him. Every bump of his promotes my friend's restaurant, so more power to him.
