Damn, sounds good. Any idea on how that Koeneman guy is doing? Supposedly he is a really good power hitter. Could be another Matt Clark.

I'm worried about Pitching outside Ranaudo starting Friday's and Ott closing. Ross has to improve drastically to make another run. We're also going to need another Ott like surprise to step up.

Between Bradshaw, Bourgeois and Matulis I think we can find a solid 3rd starter.
I still think how good this staff COULD of been though if a couple guys didn't sign pro contracts (von Rosenberg!)

I know. frickin shite. And the JUCO flame thrower. Supposedly Maineri told him to frick off because he had an attitude problem.
eta. Kind of weird but I had a dream a couple nights ago that we were kickin arse in the CWS and Ranaudo was in beast mode and then all of a sudden it was the second game, we were shutting them out with Matulis starting. So I think God is telling me Matulis will step up. Sorry, I'm just pumped for Baseball.

Watkins does not have to be faster than mitchell, i think he is not, but if he can read the pitchers , which mitchett, did not. he should steal a lot more then mitchell. also, maybe he can bunt.

Also, he's shorter so the strike zone is smaller. He could get on base a lot.

Watkins is a better "baseball player" in my opinion. Mitchell was a good/great athlete.

If Watkins is the fastest player on the team and he can cover so much ground, why is he playing LF?
He should be playing CF if the team wants the best player at their respective positions for defense. He played that position in Eunice and demonstrated the ability to do that very well.
