Yeah, he'll never eat 99.9% of all high schoolers, probably well more than 50% of most collegians he faces alive, nor ever see the NBA.
Sincerely signed, Nate Robinson, Calvin Murphy, Mugsy Bogues, Spud Webb, Allen Iverson, TJ Ford, Jameer Nelson, Earl Boykins, etc..

the kid is 12 you can't predict how good he will be when he turns 18. his body has a lot of changing to do and so do all those other kids

I coach middle school kids and that is nothing more than a good athlete. He is very short and I did not see anything that just stood out that I would say WOW!!! Sorry nothing special there!! He better stay on the books to make something for himself in life.

Haven't even watched the video yet but this has trouble written all over it...i actually feel sorry for the kid.

I've seen the kid before on youtube. He has a video where he shows his training regimen. Of course, you can't predict what will happen when he gets older, or when other kids get older, but he appears to have a love for the game, a great work ethic and a drive to get better.
No reason to bash the kid because his parents are pimping him out and doing stupid shite.

+1
Some kids stand out early because they grew earlier than everyone else.
But the other kids catch up. They are 12. Talk to me when they are 16 and 17.

I agree- my son's travel team played in the Reggie Evans tournament in Pensacola last year in the U11 and U13 groups and I saw kids there from New Orleans and GA that would were much more impressive. Looks like dad is trying to create a sensation...

His parents must be from Kenya with that ability to run long distances.

Handles the ball and makes the shots and hits free throws.
Fundamentals, we all scream it and when a good story comes along about a kid who actually practices and busts his arse to be great, idiots on here find a way to talk down about the kid.
The others can catch up all they want, with the fundamental base this kid has, he will always be a better all around player.

That's exactly what I see, a kid that is gonna still be lightning quick, has floor vision, instincts for the game, lil' warrior spirit, rhythm in his body, a nice shooting stroke(that will need some prototypical refinement as he ages..right now he uses all of himself to launch LD bombs), a man's work ethic coupled to the enthusiasm of a child on his training videos..
I'm betting that Jashaun Agosto is still an excelling baller by 17 or 18 years of age, despite size limitations.

a video of a three foot tall 12 year old shooting layups does not translate into phenom.
Posted on 1/19/10 at 4:20 pm to moonlightgraham
I saw a lot more shots than just layups, but hey, if the blow-by is working and they can't stop him, he'd been stupid to shoot outside just for the hell of it.
The kid's a baller..too many player haters coming out the woodwork on Jashaun due to his half-pint status.

Im sorry but this kid is freaking good..
He is very fast, his dribbling is out of this world for a kid his age..
he can finish in the paint and has great body control....
