Really? Super Bowl Champion vs. BCS? It ain't even close. Super Bowl for sure.

I love the Saints and am happy about their recent success, but I'd take an SEC Championship over a Saints Super Bowl Win. I wouldn't trade the whole franchise, though.

Not trying to be insulting. I just care about College FB that much more than the NFL.

Since this was asked on an LSU message board, the answers should be heavily skewed towards LSU. However, as a N.O. native and an LSU alum, I can say that I'm every bit as excited about the Saints right now as I was for LSU's 03 and 07 championships. Also, I think that a Saints super bowl win would be more meaningful to their fans than a BCS championship would be to LSU fans right now.

That's cool. I guess I have always been more excited about the Saints and the NFL in general. I like the broader fanbase in NFL as opposed to college. In other words, if you didn't attend the school, you feel sort of left out. Not like that with the Saints.

Yeah , I guess if you are not a student and just follow local schools, Pro teams then it would be more slanted towards the Pro - teams because of wider coverage and higher level of competition.
I can understand it - I have supported local schools but don't really feel strongly about their title runs (except when someone has a friend/family playing) but that is partly because the tv and now internet has made lsu info available at the click of a mouse and so the daily fix for college football is always available, readily tailored to my needs.

I love the Saints success and they are my NFL team. But I want nothing more then another Tiger NC.
I'm so sick of my Miami friend always telling me "5 NCs!"

Tigers National Championships, and it's not even close. I spent 4 1/2 years of my life at LSU not the Superdome.
I would trade the whole franchise for another MNC.
MNC...
I hate this term.

The Tigers ALREADY have 3 Championships and I would gladly trade just one of those for 1 Saints championship..that way they each have at least one!!

a Super Bowl is so much better for the state of Louisiana and for the region than a college national title.
college is king in the south, but NFL is king across the nation and of all sports

Saints Superbowl any day of the week. Saints > LSU Football for me.
Only thing i'd want as much as a Saints Superbowl is a LSU basketball championship.
