Maybe the new salary cap rules that will be implimented next year for rookies....that's why Jones is gone, no such rules this year..

Peterson could miss the entire season with an injury and he would still declare. I'll bet he doesn't set foot in a classroom next fall.

Peterson is about to play his final season as a Tiger.
And no one should fault him for that. He'll have given this program 3 years of stellar play and represent LSU well as a top 15 pick in the draft.
