flying with/ Mailing someone a King Cake

anyone ever done this?? which company is the best to go with? trying to mail one to friends in NYC this weekend... thanks for the feedback

checked the TSA website and the only thing it had about food was this: LINK

anyone RECENTLY see someone take a king cake on a plane??? I know I've seen this in the past but now with all the regulations etc........

Call Meche's. Tell them where you want it sent. It gets there the next day.

Haydel's does a great shop with overnight shipping. They included some extra mardi gras items in the box, which makes it a nice treat for someone out of town.

paul's pastry in Picayune and Haydel's in Nola have both been great for me.

I always orde from Ambrosia (sp?) and every year it turns out great
