So? The Raiders offense was at its best when Callahan was the OC and HC. And Gruden didn't have a lot of offensive success in Tampa.

yes. it is not a college offense

takes 3-4 years to learn, which doesn't work when you only have guys for 3-5 years. just too complex for college

USC and Auburn are two examples of college teams that used the WCO in the last few years and were very successful.

There have been a few coaches who were good enough to be NFL Position coaches/OCs/HCs but couldn't cut it on the college level. Sherman and Gailey are two more examples. Gailey was an average college HC and Sherman seems to be the same.

I always thought Jim Mora Jr. was much more fit for college than the pros. And I was really surprised that took that Seahawks job. I thought he'd put himself in a position to take the UDub job whenever it opened up.

BTW, I know a lot of you like Mike Riley as a coach, but he has nowhere near the dynamic personality of Carroll, and their national recruiting would eventually take a pretty big hit. Sark at USC could be scary, though. I hope he doesn't take it because 1)USC or anybody else being really good is bad for LSU, and 1) He'd be at the top of my list of potential replacements for Les whenever he finally leaves. And Sark ain't leaving USC unless he's fired or goes to the NFL himself.

USC doesn't run the west coast offense. they still run chow's offense

AU didn't really run the WCO. that was just dumbass SEC media

TAMU improved a good bit in sherman's 2nd year. his career isn't over yet

gailey isn't dynamic or energetic for recruiting
