Do you think his play in the Capital One bowl was due to play calling or just poor focus?

It was completely idiotic coaching to make him play back 7-10 yards off his man most of the game. When you have a corner as dominant as he is you let him go man up all damn day.

He looked like his spirits were good during the week with the orlando from orlandeaux interview but yea i still think it was lack of focus

Agreed, but pretty hard to play man with unexpected footing.

Still raises the question how the hell do you play man on a field like that?

Receivers can pick their cuts, defenders are left in the dark where they are directing weight. Horrible footing just leaves man coverage out of the question and soft zones the only option.

Well, on the TD pass Peterson just plain ole bit on the fricking route. It had nothing to do with the footing.

I think it was mostly 3rd and Chavis combined with bad footing.

There were adjustments made very late in the game.

I dont blame him at all. Even if he did give up a touchdown than so be it. Sh!t happens.. But if the offense cant move the ball and score points that is the problem.
PP doesn't have to change a thing there is not another corner in the nation in college that I would want starting over him.

Didn't seem like Penn St. had any problem defending our offense? You can't use the field as an excuse, I rather see him bust his arse and fall down and have a reason to give up big yards, but he just did not play good football.
