It is just too many people with no clue making guesses to try to look smart or knowledgeable too often IMO.

This kid is an enigma. If it wasn't for Born on this board I'd be completely baffled by the carousel he has created with this recruiting process.

Is it possible that he (Lache) has spent most of his time trying to quell the circus that is constantly being stirred up by the media and message boards such as this one? Is it possible it's not Lache who is creating it, but us? Is it possible that the dude just wants to take his time and privately make the decision that is best for him, and then announce to the world?

Not just possible, probably likely.
I'm not trying to blame the kid, this is the kind of thing that happens with this kind of hype.
But to go from LSU leading, to Texas leading, to LSU leading again, to Auburn leading, to LSU leading, to USC leading, to who knows is just a little more than I care to follow.
But wherever he ends up, a team is getting one hell of a running back.

I am not sure that HE ever said that USC was LEADING. Same goes for UT I believe.

This, but it is not really much of a circus. It is mostly just people on this board. Lache is not even in the recuiting headlines very often since summer, considering how highly ranked he is.

I'm just not even paying attention anymore. Looking at our class as if he won't be joining, and if he does commit it'll be a very pleasant surprise

Exactly. I don't think Lache has confirmed anything. Everybody is hungry for a story and this kind of "coverage" is good for business. It's in the recruiting services best interest to fuel the fire, but it really doesn't take much and all of a sudden there is a wildfire. Watch, when everyone gets used to this idea of AU vs LSU something else will pop up "out of nowhere."
