this was an early list done from tharinger, but a good representation nonetheless
#1. Jeremauria Rasco/DE/Evangel
- A monster off the edge. Had 26 sacks as a sophomore on his way to defensive player of the year. Great athlete that has one of the quickest first steps in prep football. Should be a 5 star candidate.
#2. Kenny Hilliard/RB/Patterson
- Nephew of Dalton Hilliard. Most years would be #1 in state. Will be another 5 star candidate. All-state as a freshman and sophomore. Great vision, agility, cutback ability, and power.
#3. Jarvis Landry/WR/Lutcher
- Amazing top end talent in the state of Louisiana in '11. Another 5 star candidate. Major speed w/ a good feel for the game. Will sit down in the zone or go by you on the edge. Good hands that could improve.
#4. Anthony Johnson/DT/O. Perry Walker
- Good quickness to go with the frame to grow into a premier DT. Has a very high ceiling. Could be the best player on this list when he reaches his potential.
#5. Beau Fitte/LB/South Plaquemines
- Good feel for rushing the passer(19 sacks as a sophomore). Will be a LB in college. Has the speed to go outside and the instincts to be inside.
#6. La'el Collins/OL/Redemptorist
- Great size to go along w/ light feet and a mean streak you like. The best OL prospect in the state for '11.
#7. Chucky Hunter/DT/West Monroe
- HUGE DT prospect that will be a great run stuffer in college.
#8. Derrick Milton/RB/Pineville
- Shifty RB that also has good downhill ability. Needs to improve patience and vision. Lots of potential.
#9. Stevie Douglas/QB/Clinton(Home School)
- At 6'5" 175, he has the frame. Also has the huge arm, good accuracy, and an emerging feel for the rush. Doesn't play the needed competition to be higher, but is a potential star prospect. Was MVP at the recent La. NUC camp.
#10. Levander Liggins/ATH/Leesville
- Could be a DB or WR in college. Great speed and leaping ability. High ceiling w/ this athlete.
Others to Watch:
Renaldo Thomas/ATH/Saint Augustine
Bradley Sylve/WR/South Plaquemines
Jeremy Hill/RB/Redemptorist
Johnny Banks/ATH/Christian Life
Greg Robinson/OL/Thibodeaux
Ethan Houston/OL/Destrehan
Ellis Carey/DB/Helen Cox
Jerome Sentimore/OL/Destrehan
Cartel Murray/ATH/Thibodaux
Javante Watson/RB/Bastrop

Why is Jerome Senimore on this list?
This is a list I have compiled for some time now from a variety of sources. Believe it or not, I do not keep constant track of every single junior high school player that LSU might be interested in. It is possible that some of these players may no longer be on the radar. Please forgive me, o mighty one.
These are players I have heard or read that LSU has been interested in or vice versa. It is up to Lynx to decide who goes in the Project.

Thanks for the list. Well done.
Don't let one new poster get under your skin.
With the notoriety the 2011 class is already getting, I think it might be nice to create a top 20 TDings 2011 LA prospect list to begin the project.
It can spark some discussion and give us guys to really focus our attention towards.
I also am of the opinion that those who follow recruiting closely should focus their updates/evaluations of the middle-upper tier of recruits. We all know about guys like Kenny Hilliard--even people that barelyyyy follow recruiting have heard the name.
guys like Bradley Sylve and Levander Liggins, however, are two names that come to mind that others may not know a ton about.
Thoughts on those two goals?

Top 20? I like the idea very much.
More info on upper middle tier recruits? Very good idea. The more info about these guys the better and they are less likely to be subjects of articles in Rivals or Scout.

Is Zack Oliver likely to get an offer from LSU?
Potentially, but I am doubting it. I don't think he is mobile enough.

Guys,
Lets start taking on some assignments. This time we will allot one player per person until the evaluation is complete.
I will post them in the blog for the rest of the site once we get it up and running again.

He won't be getting any offers to my knowledge......
Realistically, CHS did not have too much senior talent on their team. Everyone should agree that they overachieved getting to the semis. Even if you have a family member on the team you need to realize this.
Oliver, Nelson, and Sanders Davis are really the only guys getting legitimate D1 consideration.

Bump.
Good job getting this started early Lynx.

I vote if you dont know shite about recruiting (like me), stay the frick out of the way. Dont ask stupid shite. Just read what some of the experienced posters have to say and learn something.
It would really be enough if everyone just left out the negativity about what we are doing to share with all of TD.com.
None of us are professionals and we aren't charging anything for it.

Yall may want to add this kid to the list: Daren Kitchen from Vandebilt Catholic in Houma. I don't know anything about him but what his rivals profile shows, but he's a big corner that already has offers from Stanford and Nebraska.

as far as fullbacks in LA are concerned I never saw one make as big a difference running the ball inside, catchin passes, and scoring than when i saw salinas in the 2009 season.
I remember CHS played Live Oak this season, Catholic started at their own 5 and salinas made, what i thought, a 50 yard run and i literally thought he would take it to the house.
He's a D1 Jacob Hester/Tommy Banks-fullback in my book
