LSU was leading every game going into the 4th quarter except the Florida game (down 10-3).

Or a fancy way of saying this team wasn't playing from behind every game and getting lucky to get to 9 wins.

Offense made plays against Georgia and Arkansas when they needed them and gave us a chance against Ole Miss, but overall, the offense in the second half was pitiful.

Seems like this year our defense was winded in the 4th quarter in quite a few games. This was odd, as several years ago, the 4th quarter was where we many times wore down and overran opponents.

Could be explained by our offense being so poor, so they were out on the field the whole time.

Not odd at all when you consider that the LSU offense ran about 15 plays per game fewer than their opponents.

But they will still blame the man that Saban would die for on his staff in Tommy Moffitt.

In point of fact with no No. 2 QB, it is incredible that LSU did as well as they did. After starting out tolerably well winning at the Univ. of Wash. and beating Univ. of Georgia and Auburn Univ., LSU would have beaten ala. if J.Jefferson not out the 2nd half of that game, then they would been favored to go to the SEC championship game but with LSU's next game with Ole Miss and Coach Miles melt down with tme management costing the game it would have been nearly as bad as the Tx Coach Brown's and QB McCoy fiasco time management for their big 12 championship against Nebraska. The bottom line here is LSU get a no. 2 QB now.

What we needed was a running game.

Wow, that's not just in the losses, that's 11 out of the 12 games.

Im assuming you meant S&C coaches. And I happen to agree with you. I think LSU looks weak and certainly there is a strong argument that our teams break down late in games. I dont think Moffit is this almighty god that he's made out to be. Could also be the players themselves not having enough drive during workouts and conditioning drills.

In how may games did LSU give up that lead at any point in the 4th quarter?

That is because Les looks very forward to having the opportunity to find victory in the back end of games. That is unless he has the opportunity to win the game then forgets if he has timeouts and has no confidense in his players to hit a play in which his staff called in having a feild goal team ready

In the last 2 years, Les's teams "can't finish".
