Miles is slowly but surely sucking the life out of LSU football

I'll fix it for you...Our fans are slowly but surely sucking the life out of LSU football. Not all fans, just the ones that want to bitch and moan about every little thing that happens. We run too much, we don't run enough, we should throw deep, why are we throwing deep, Shep needs more touches, Trindon needs more touches, Keiland needs more touches, Jefferson should play, Lee should play, etc....Our "fans" that show up late to games, sit on their A$$ most of the game, boo our players, and then leave in the third quarter. It's these type of "fans" that suck the life out of LSU football.

Sure, Miles has had some instances this year that warranted "bitching", namely the Ole Miss fiasco. But one of the reasons that caused such a stir was because we converted on a freakin 4th and 26 (something like that). Had that pass not been completed then the game would have ended on THAT play and the clock mismanagement conversation doesn't escalate like it did.

I support LSU, it's players, and whoever the head coach is. I can't wait until next year when everyone is jumping back on the bandwagon with an experienced QB and a bunch of young talent (85 freshmen/sophomores).

Can we auto-kill these kinds of threads? Go ask Eastern Michigan and I'd bet my kids that they would love a 8-9-10(with the bowl) season win every year with a top 10-BCS finish. Bye Bye

May I kindly suggest that you and "drizztiger" do this:

It would be best for the LSU football program.

As long as we are winning and at the top of the SEC -- which we are -- remember we had a 4th Q lead on BAMA and got gyped on the interception, Miles will be here. I am disappointed with the OM clock mgt. and 4thQ play calling too. It was not Miles finest 15 minutes of fame, but it this 5th year team is as good as Saban's 5th year team.

if our team continues to improve, you will be the one sucking. a program going in the wrong direction does not recruit as well as LSU does. miles has a very good reputation amongst recruits, high school coaches and other college coaches. i believe miles will fix the offense problem and i believe miles will elevate the program to the top level again. he certainly deserves the chance. he also does not deserve the crude and immature statements made about him. if he fails, it will become apparant to the one's that control the situation; the TAF, the LSU administration, large donors, former players, etc.

me too, damnit! i think miles has a very good chance to take LSU back to the mountain top again. we have some passionate fans ( and always have), but there is a certain segment that actually want LSU to do bad. they may deny that but their posts speak for themselves. the reasons they want LSU to fail have to deal with wanting miles gone and supporting their "judgement". i am also sure they have no idea how it upsets a program when there is a coaching change; a change that could very well be a very bad change not counting the money it would cost LSU to fire miles and the bad reputation LSU would get for firing a guy with 50+ wins, 4 bowl wins and a NC in just 5 years.

I'm no Miles supporter and in theory I agree with you that he is slowly leading us towards mediocrity...but Hallman years?!?!? Maybe the worst comparison ever!

Pathetic, really.

What I find the most pathetic is seeing a 400 word reply, selecting 5 words about intellect and replying to that while ignoring the remainder of the post. You guys really have nothing to say and yes, it makes you particularly dumb in my eyes.

moneyg

I knew you wouldn't accept my offer.

I learned during the Arkansas game that almost all of the guys that act like you don't even have season tickets let alone any other association to LSU.
