Just trying to make y'all not sad that he left Florida for LSU. I'll give you a shocker for you: that isn't the only party the Florida players have gone too. Nice to find a scapegoat though once they leave town.

Probably happened but you will never get even half of the real story. You might hear about the straw that broke the camels back but there was a bunch of bales of hay before that straw! Fired/quit/retired in the football world rarely means much. Just depends on who yelled I quit/your fired first.

If it is true, then it is a good stroke of luck that LSU got a good replacement just when McCarthy had to be let go. I would take Gonzo getting fired for a stupid party incident over lack of performance or personal issues. We may have struck gold.
