Kirk loves LSU and the SEC (and of course USC)

Spoke with Herbstreit's brother,John,today.
After I told him about the Rant and how "ESPN hates LSU" he told me that Kirk actually loves LSU, Miss State and the SEC - SECRETLY - and also admitted that he loves USC (as he was looking down). "He loves the hard-hitting style of football in the SEC, and that fans in the South love college football so intensely. Except the death threats on his brother back in 2007.
When I asked about the breaking news story about Les Miles going to Michigan, he said that Les himself told him about Michigan, but when the shite hit the fan, Les denied the whole thing and pointed his finger at Kirk. Needless to say, Kirk got into deep do-do with the producers.
Regarding the talk on the Rant about Kirk and his recreation with the women, John said that although there have been many oppy's, Kirk is a man of faith and a faithful husband and father of 4 children.

I just hung up the phone...it was ND's AD...begging me to take the HC job but I turned it down and said i'de rather be a tiger fan.
