How many think he'll move to linebacker once he gets to the NFL. I think thats his biggest weakness is his pass coverage. Also what does he run in the 40. To be honest when i heard they moved Coleman to linebacker i was shocked that it wasn't C.Jones that was moved.

Should read, how many think he'll even GO to the NFL? This kid has a VERY bright future in MLB. Yes, he also is a very talented football player & is a NFL prospect BUT......where do you think he'll go, baseball or football? I think he'll opt for baseball, especially since his football position is such a physical position & the life expectancy there is not real good. He can go play baseball & have a very long & wealthy career without the everyday concern of your body taking a physical beating on every play. Or he could go to the NFL & become a linebacker...who knows!

I am thinking unless he shows he can go for longer outings, or moves to the closer position, Chad Jones' would make more money in the NFL if he has a good year next year.

Left-handed middle relief pitchers hang around the majors for decades being paid 1m a year to pitch 1 or 2 innings a week.

He runs around blocks. He will not be a NFL LB

+1, except with a "y" at the end of alread. Way too soon to assume that he has MLB stuff.

Chad will not be back next year. Rahim told a good friend of mine that yesterday at the doctor's office she manages.

I dont think he plays in the NFL, and if he does I dont think it would be at LB. Seems kinda small for an NFL LB.

I don't know. None of us do, we are just guessing, but I think he's more of a sure thing prospect in football. He has size and speed etc. As Lester said earlier, he hasn't proven shite in baseball to justify a high pick.

High school players get paid big time bucks all the time at a young age, because he has 7 innings pitched does not mean a thing.

I'm not saying his future is not in MLB.

Exactly. Lefties that throw as hard as he does, with control don't come by too often. He'll be drafted high by MLB.

His love is football. He is prototype STRONG safety in the league.
Put it this way, he is much better than Laron (who was great and still is very solid pro)

I know how everyone thinks, but he doesn't see it like that. He loves what he loves. Really, since he would be a left handed setup guy, I think he is perfect to play both, or at least try for a year or so.(AL team and not worry about batting)
