- Saban is a better coach than Miles
- Saban is the best coach in the country
- Saban used to coach at LSU
- Saban is one reason why LSU has had the success that it has had over the last 9 years
- Saban ain't coming back
- We should be content that we had him while we did
- LSU still has the capability of being a national power year in and out simply by geography and in-state competition,or lack thereof.
- LSU has been in a golden era, perhaps its greatest era over the last 9 years and it is hard to accept that may be over for now.
- It is what it is and that doesn't mean that we are all of the sudden about to be the LSU of the 1990s.
- At worst, LSU is still the third best team in the best conference in the nation...that is not bad.

Way to just settle, and not want to be the best. Hope you teach you kids the same quality.

I am so sick of the Miles, Saban talk.

For a change of pace, let's start comparing Miles to Pete Carrol or Bob Stoops. Hell, Fat Charlie too.

Just no more Miles and Saban.

Its easier to compare coaches when they are in the same conference.

Fine. Then let's do it with one of the other 10 coaches in the SEC.

C'mon, aren't you just a little tired of the Saban-Miles angle?

As well as at Michigan State.

Why haven't the Spartans benefited from Saban's golden touch like LSU has?

Yeah, bjc...you tell him. Get out there, and hold a few high ranking TAF members at knife point until you get what you know we deserve. Anything less is settling for mediocrity, and should be viewed as quitting.

ETA: Miles/Saban shite is so tired.

LSU has all the recruiting advantages but since Saban isnt here anynmore, we are supposed to be content with the end of the "golden era" and satisfied with 3rd in the SEC? I'm stunned that apparently the only thing keeping LSU from prominence is coaching, and we arent doing much about that.

Petey because of his defensive pedigree.

Especially with his recruiting rep now. I've heard people say that he wouldn't cut it in the SEC because he's too laid back.

Well, Meyer isn't exactly breathing fire and brimstone out there. And he's doing just fine in the SEC.

Don't like Saban.
Quit talking about Saban.
Liked Alabama before Saban.
Saban is a liar.
Saban is a "pretty boy".
Alabama is the only SEC team I will not pull for in a national championship game because of Saban.
Go Horns.

Miles is our coach. Support him instead of "ranting" him.
