Thoughts from "enlightened" "Redskins fans on the game

Per the washingtonpost.com
Articles by Thomas Boswell & Jason Reid. These are some comments in response to the articles; feel free to laugh:
The Officials gave the game to the Saints. Even with all the mistakes the Redskins made, they still beat the New Orleans Saints. They were defrauded by a corrupt officiating crew and a welfare program sponsored by the league High Muck-a-mucks.
-------------------------------------------------
This is why I think the game was fixed.
The refs: Moore was down by contact on the interception.
Sellers was down before the fumble. His hand and was down before the ball began to move.
The kicker: You don’t miss that you don’t unless it is intentional. I am sorry nothing anyone could say would convince me otherwise. Someone needs to check his savings accounts.
The safety: Once is accident. Twice is on purpose. Landry is too good of a player to make the same mistake twice. Especially when his JOB is not to let ANYONE get behind him.
I am sorry something stinks about this game. I know the Skins are bad but, too many things happened in this game that make me seriously think for the first time EVER mind you, that this game was not on the up and up.
-------------------------------------------------
I'm afraid I can't agree with Tom. This wasn't misfortune. This was the League Marketing Plan being enforced by an officiating crew charged with insuring that the New Orleans Saints Entitlement Program proceeds without a hitch.
-------------------------------------------------
Like the Colts of a few years ago, a team the AFC Championship Game's Officiating Crew seemed determined to award a Super Bowl trip to, the Saints are the beneficiaries of a pity program designed to link the NFL up to victims of Hurricane Katrina through the creation of an undefeated football team the economic benefits of which would bless the ravaged city of New Orleans.
-------------------------------------------------
my bold*
Ignorant, arrogant, without knowledge of football & stupid conspiracy theorists.
Discuss.

Laron's job is to destroy QB's and flex.

Seriously... have they not paid attention to his game the past several years and dating back to LSU?

You realize that LSU fans started this nonsense. And now it has spread to the NFL.

Sounds like the 9/11ers group at it again.

like those refs, Landry, or the kicker would leave their integrity to be questioned when their livelihood rests on their jobs.

After being completely wrong about the two reviewed played, he then accuses the kicker and safety of throwing the game? Wow. This idiot doesn't deserve to be able to watch football.

Ask them how much Belichick got paid off last week.

...Since your hand being on the ground makes you down

Until the holding call on Washington's last drive in the fourth quarter, did the Redskins have ANY penalties called against them?
They went three quarters and another 13.5 minutes and they didn't commit ONE penalty. I saw several key "missed" holding calls throughout the game by Washington.
Yet, the officials stole the game for N.O.?

I'd rather know why the NFL Katrina welfare took so long to get here. Seems like we should have at least been a playoff team the last 2 years if the fix was on.

First, this guy must be f'ing blind. His hand was nowhere near being down.
Second, he must be a f'ing moron because anyone who knows anything about football realizes that putting your hand down on the ground does not stop the play (i.e., you are not "down").

What the Redskins fans need to be really pissed about, is we couldn't stop the little hitch pass to the receiver or back. They killed us all day on that play. The last two drives they ran the ball just to kick a fieldgoal. Say what you want, but, if Zorn goes for the jugular on the first fieldgoal try, they ice the game with a 14 point lead. Zorn went ultra conservative in the forth quarter.
