Although I did not catch the game, I must say that the Texas name brand will probably get them into this game.

I am not an Alabama fan, but I will be for the National Championship game if Texas gets to play them. Texas lost the Big 12 Championship last night, but lobbying/cheating got that second back on the clock.

Let's say the shoe was on the other foot and Nebraska had the ball in the same scenario. Do you honestly think that second would go back on the clock? I don't think so.

The National Championship should be Alabama vs. TCU (I would be for TCU here - if TCU wins, you would see a playoff system evolve much faster).

But instead, we will probably get the Cheat Texas play Bama. I will be for Bama here.

nebraska fricked themselves by kicking the ball out of bounds

Yep, and the penalty for the blatant personal foul didn't help either. Besides that, the replay clearly showed that one second should have gone back on the clock, because the ball hit the ground out of bounds with time still on the clock. There was no gray area, or conspiracy.

OBVIOUSLY, LOL.

How anyone could think this and consider themself a knowledgeable football fan is laughtable.

The correct call was made, the clock NEVER should have went to :00. If Texas isn't given 1 more play there, that is the biggest heist I've seen in a LONG time considering what they were playing for, keeping them out of the title game like that.

Ahhh.

So you saw the ball land AND the ref signalling to stop the clock BEFORE it went to :00.

So, again, where was the cheating?

Wow, then what IS your excuse for turning a blind eye to reality then?

By that same logic, we should have gotten 3 seconds on the clock against Ole Miss. When TT hit the ground there was more than one sec on the clock.

even with 2 seconds, that would've left time to spike the ball and then get the field goal team ready.

all I wanna know is how often during the course of a regular football game is an incomplete pass reviewed to make sure the clock stopped at the precise time? I've watched a lot of football since replay was instituted and I can't think of a single instance before last night.
