According to Dandy Don, they're both coming back for 2010. Wondering (hoping) if this is one more time his sources aren't reliable.

In other coaching news, I was told Friday afternoon that offensive line coach Greg Studrawa is likely to return for the 2010 season as is offensive coordinator Gary Crowton.

If true

For the record I think both should go however, if one stays I think is should be stud. Yes the oline sucked but there was MUCH MUCH more improvement on the oline (see Tbob-not great but he started terrible and ended up imo a serviceable center especially coming off a major knee injury) as the season went on as opposed to the offense as a whole/playcalling....The three straight passes in the Ole Miss game when we started in FG range was enough to fire Crowton in my opinion.

IF Stud returns.....I will look forward to CLM departure from LSU in the future.

I just read his football bio. please tell me what is so great about this guy, am i missing something? I just don't see any great he has done as a offensive cord, or head coach. Can someone let me know.

Crowton has 2 years left on his contract at $400K per year. I cannot see LSU giving Crowton $800K and then turning around and giving another OC a $1M contract.

Well, we can see how effective Crowton's been at improving the offense this season - so give him another year and maybe he'll reach the absolute bottom of the barrel. LSU only has 12 more spots to go to be the worst offense in the nation.

LSU's NCAA offensive ranking this fall:
Week 1 - 78
Week 2 - 88
Week 3 - 90
Week 4 - 105
Week 5 - 99
Week 6 - 109
Week 7 - 112
Week 8 - 106
Week 9 - 100
Week 10 - 103
Week 11 - 107
Week 12 - 106
Week 13 - 108

LSU doesn't have a chance and Miles is gone if they keep Crowton. He is incapable of admitting his schemes/planning are failing and he continues to do the same thing week in and week out.
