also liked Bert Jones, David Woodley, Nelson Stokely, Mike Hillman, Pat Screen, Billy Ezell, ? Lyons, Herb Tyler, Jimmy Fields, Durel Mathern, Mike Miley (RIP), A.J. Duhe (RIP), Steve Ensminger, Allen Risher, Jeff Wichersham, Tommy Hodson (3 Bowl Games), Rohan Davey, JaMarcus Russell, Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee. I've seen each play and dern, I wasn't in the world to see this one paly in the name of Y.A. Title, the youngest QB to ever start at LSU during his career....
You sure do know alot about the history of LSU football to be a TCU fan...

slackster i wish you had the balls to talk to someone like that to their face but you dont. And if the o line was constantly personally attacked id come to their defense too. And we had no running game you fricking idiot. We rushed for 170 only 2 times and under 100 4 times. In the miss. State game we rushed for 30 yards and the ole miss game we rushed for 45 yrds. So know what ur talkin about before running that dick sucler bitch

Absolutely. Next to Jamarcus, he's a goddam rocket scientist.
Jamarcus was a smarter QB as far as football goes than Flynn and Mauck. I love how people call him dumb based on what goes on OUTSIDE of football. What the frick do you care? His numbers speak in favor of football intelligence.
And JJ isn't accepted because some of our fans are idiots. His numbers are pretty damn good considering the fact that this offense is inconsistent. We have no running game, which in no way is JJ's fault, and we have very weak playcalling and blocking. Naturally, a sophomore is supposed to light the world on fire given the circumstances.

When will JJ be accepted by our fans?
When he plays well. In other words, never.
quote:
People fail to realize our horrible our running game is.
That's because teams know they can stack the box, stop the run and blitz and Jefferson can't make them pay with good reads or a deep passing game. It's easy to stop the run when you don't have to respect the QB's ability to throw.
quote:
Against ole miss we ran for 40 yrds and JJ led us on 2 game deciding drives.
The only "game deciding" thing he did against Ole Miss was get his stupid arse sacked to knock us out of range of the winning FG instead of getting rid of it in time or at least not rolling right into the pass rusher.
quote:
He need to step up in the pocket and how to move within the pocket.
He's had 13 starts to learn that. That's as many as Matt Flynn had in his entire career. When is Jefferson going to learn what any decent QB would have learned way before now?
quote:
He really doesnt lock onto recievers as you people think too
Then why does he stand back there staring at one guy for six or seven seconds until he gets sacked?
quote:
Some on here are sayin he wouldn't start at any other school and that is just retarded.
He would not start at any other SEC school.
quote:
JJ will be the starter.
And the offense will suck.
quote:
Stop calling him dumb.
Why?

so did matt flynn suck? Cause jj has put numbers similar to flynn. And ur an idiot cause you run to set up the pass not the other way around. It is so odd that the only fanbase that cant see that jj is a decent qb is lsu fans

Let's get mature and get off the racial issue?
Since my last post didn't come out well through the copy and past method; here are a couple of glaring facts. These are numbers when they both played, whether starting or just in action during a game since they have been here.
JJ (Interceptions = 7) (Sacks = 39) Total = 46
JL (Intercpetions = 17) Sacks = 11) Total = 28
JJ - was 205 for 345 = 59.4% Total Yds, = 2393 & 11.6 YPR
JL - was 159 for 309 = 51.4% Total Yds. = 2070 & 13.0 YPR
YPR is Yards Per Reception. *Next is Rushing Yards for careers.
JJ - 153 Carries for 294 Yds, = Avg. Yd, P/C is +1.92
JL - 14 Carries for -120 Yds = Avg. Yd. P/C is -8.6
I hope this clears up some of this stupid argument?
Now, the intangibles are not factored in! 1. Babying the QB;
2. Treating the QB like he is accountable for his actions.
If you have been around sports long enough, these two things happen when coaches cannot admit their action plan are or held accountable for their actions. Thus they make a change. Remember against Ar Kansas last season, JJ only completed approx. 49.5% of his passes in his first action. The Off. went to a more mobile QB and this helped JJ then and thus there was a substantial gain in his production in the Bowl Game against GA Tech. Also, the Defense probably played their best game of that season as well.
And did any of you get the point that the Off. that JL played on could not tackle when an interception was made. This is no excuse, go back and watch the tape. This yrs. Off. team were more aggressive at attacking an opponent when they intercepted a pass. All of this leads to coaching. JJ, can also be very thankful for the vast improvement in the Defensive Team this season. In 2008 there was mass confusion on the Def. side of the ball; and this 2009 season that mass confusion was on the Off. side of the ball. A drastic change and contrast for a Div. I team with the same H.C.

LSU fans always have to high of expectations for QBs, one week our QBs are high on the horse and the next we are throwing them under the bus. This is the story of our QBs

WHEN HE TURNS WHITE! I don't think this, but that is the only thing that could possible explain the devotion to "Pick 6" Lee over JJ

That was general statement by me. But your statement shows your immaturity.
Posted on 12/3/09 at 11:22 am to jesterJ
dude you've been all over this board with your little foreign lang sayings and im the one that immature. You sound like a total douche. You came on here sayin your wife said jj was a pussy. And that you replied to her that jj doesmnt have the heart of a tiger. Are you serious. Just stop. He has taken lots of big hits this yr and missed a game, in which if we weren't playing la tech he prob would've played, and a half. Matt.flynn missed two games his snior year and mauck missed damn near a whole year. Did they too not have the heart of a tiger? You are an idiot. Stop eith the litle latin phrases. It makes you look like a huge fig.
