dude do you think before you post. Who in the hell said l ast yr that jl is all we had. We had a badass running game last year. Think then post. If our soph qb can lead us to 3rd in the sec then im pretty confident he can improve on that. Jl had one of the most dominat o lines in cfb last yr. We ran on everybody. In the bama game last yr we had two back almost run for 100 yrds

I think you need to read my post. Did not say you specifically, but stated "everyone".

Taking out sacks, we rushed for over 4.2 yards per attempt. We had a fricking running game dipshit, but the problem was the offense never had the ball. Our T.O.P. and Plays per game were horrendous. Stop using the "no running game" excuse.

For that matter, if you would take your dick out of JJ's arse, you would see that your a fricking hypocrit. You come on here bitching about people bitching about JJ, yet you have used 8 pages of post to isolate and blame the other 10 guys on offense. The offense was pitiful this year. Period. JJ is the QB, so he takes the heat. All of your excuses you have used for JJ, by the way, can be used for the inexperienced OL this year.

If you are going to come on here and be a hero, defend the entire offense. If not, shut your fricking mouth.

i dont think anybody that knows an ounce of football would say that jl was our whole offense lat yr. We had a dominate o line and runnung game. Spec ive seen you on here all yr talking shite about jj. If you cant see that he has improved since the florida game then you dont wanna see it. In the ole miss game he led us on 2 game deciding drives. Arkansas, he led us on the game tying scoring drive. So you people cant have it both ways. He has put up matt flynn type numbers as a TRUE SOPHMORE. IF HE SUCKS THEN SO DOES MATT FLYNN. PERIOD.

Never. They call him dumb. Even my dad and brother do. I don't think he is dumb, but not being coached. Is Lee also dumb? Is Shep also dumb? Randle? etc, etc. It is Crowton.

Or did you forget the Mc's a senior?

Sorry but McElroy is a true Junior and yes he has been in Saban's system for 3 years.

Let's make some other points about stats which sometimes it is hyped and other's irrelevant.

Greg McElroy:
YR CMP ATT YDS CP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
07 8 9 73 88.9 8.11 32 1 0 0 193.69 (FR)
08 8 11 123 72.7 11.18 34 1 1 0 178.47 (SO)
09 180 296 2211 60.8 7.47 80 16 4 12 138.69 (JR)

Star Jackson:
Yr CMP ATT YDS CP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
09 13 18 116 72.2 6.44 21 0 0 2 126.35 (FR)
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Jordan Jefferson:
YR CMP ATT YDS CP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
08 36 73 419 49.3 5.74 41 4 1 *9 112.87(FR)
09 169 272 1964 62.1 7.22 58 16 6 *30 137.79(SO)

Jarrtt Lee:
Passing
YR CMP ATT YDS CP% YPA LNG TD INT SACK RAT
08 143 269 1873 53.2 6.96 66 13 *16 8 115.70(FR)
09 16 40 197 40.0 4.93 38 2 1 3 92.87(SO)

Here we are and only comparing LSU & Bama QB production. Remember LSU has the better recievers? And JL was forced to pass when JJ went out against bama - being behind and time issues. Against LA. Tech, he was forced to pass when the running game was sufficient enough (at one point in the game there were "6" passes called in a row and they were unwarranted.

So, do we blame? There are deficiencies in many cases!

Amat victoria curam = Victory favors those who take pains.
Fas est et ab hoste doceri = It's proper to learn even from an enemy.

This proves you are an idiot.

I did state that JJ was improving. I believe the progress has been relatively slow. That said, I expect his largest improvement to be between the end of this season and next season. If that occurs, we will be poised for a championship run w/ a productive Jr. QB. If the improvement is not there, then a championship is not likely in our future for next year.

Crowton many times put too much on JJ with stupid pass play calling when better runs should have been called up.

Crow must go!!!

I think he'll be staying. Not passing judgment on whether he should stay or go, but I think he'll stay.

how exactly does this prove i'm an idiot. JJ has a higher completion percentage, higher yards per attempt and a higher qb rating. So you fail.JJ HAS put up numbers similar to Flynn. Let me guess you think flynn was better than jr while at lsu too.

I think JR was the best talent at QB we've ever seen at LSU.

I think Tommy Hodson was the best 4 year starter.

I think Rohan Davey was the best 1 year starter.

I think Matt Flynn accomplished the most of the above.

I believe:

He has some support among the admin and some TAF support.

He produced very well in his first year w/ Matt Flynn.

He was rated as 2nd best offensive coordinator in the country in '07.

He has not forgotten how to coach, but has not had an upperclassman qb for 2 years.

Many recognize that he would have been potentially very successful w/ RP had RP been able to stay.

Having to fire coordinators twice in 2 years is somewhat suspect.

GC has to get some credit and bank for the NC if Les does.

I think that Les will have an admin issued definition of success next year and he may not want to take a chance w/ an unknown. At least GC is a known and it may be easier to work out differences if any exist than to replace.

Saves buyout money, and Admin may not hesitant to provide buyout cash.

That's the reasoning for my guess, but it's only a guess.

Firstly, do any of the distinguished denizens of Rantard World have a firm grasp on breadth and depth of Mr. Jefferson's intelligence? I venture to say no.

Furthermore, that playing QB requires above averageintelligence is without question.

One may be disappointed at his evident lack of improvement, but that is not prima facie evidence of any intellectual deficiency. I think it more likely to be reflective of inadequate instruction from THE STAFF. I do not understand the point of insulting the person instead of expressing an analysis of what one thinks the player could have done better-assuming one's opinion matters. I know that mine do not...

Sadly, because many fans cannot separate player performance from the player himself they develop an emotional involvement with someone they don't even know. It's weird.

Finally, I think it is reasonable to question the decision-making intelligence of THE STAFF given its body of work to date when one coolly reviews the Ole Miss game again. I mean, WTF was Miles thinking.....

I liked Warren Rabb, Matt Mauch, Matt Flynn = National Championship team leaders at the QB position.

I also liked Bert Jones, David Woodley, Nelson Stokely, Mike Hillman, Pat Screen, Billy Ezell, ? Lyons, Herb Tyler, Jimmy Fields, Durel Mathern, Mike Miley (RIP), A.J. Duhe (RIP), Steve Ensminger, Allen Risher, Jeff Wichersham, Tommy Hodson (3 Bowl Games), Rohan Davey, JaMarcus Russell, Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee. I've seen each play and dern, I wasn't in the world to see this one paly in the name of Y.A. Title, the youngest QB to ever start at LSU during his career....
