What was the deal? What's your excuse?

Was there a job fair that started with a minute to go in the 3rd quarter or what?

So you're saying people in Baton Rouge don't have jobs?

Should I have used free hepatitis shots? Planned parenthood giveaways?

Don't bury the lead. Why the exodus?

I just found that entertaining. As if the state of Arkansas is the booming business center of the South.

It's amazing what fans of the losing team will say to flame the WINNERS on their own board.

If you want to be constructive, start a thread on Hog field goal kicking and it's consequences.

If a couple from Arkansas gets divorced, are they still cousins?

It absolutely was. LSU fans are awesome for criticizing the team and the coaches. Now they need a little criticizing themselves. We have a proud tradition of Tiger Stadium being such a great homefield advantage and on national TV, we have a bunch of faux fans letting their wives/girlfriends convince them to leave to beat traffic or because it's a bit blusttery. Unbelievable.

LSU fans are the worst fans in college football.

What's your excuse for your QB being such a douche?

I meant when he was making fun of LSU fans for not having jobs wasn't a good flame.

I'm thinking that had something to do with it. Todd's Taste Of The Town news made it's way around the stadium and everyone wanted a snack (and an insulin shot). Off they went. Weird.

It was very sad that so many so called fans bailed on their team so early in the game...

Especially since LSU had a 24-20 lead at the time.

Unfortunately all teams have some fans that don't know how to support their program or team.

We saw about 20,000 of ours last night on National TV....

My guess is that most of those early quitters were of the Negatiger camp (see posts by SloFlowPro/Ron Mexico).

Like many of the whiners on this board they wanted to show their disgust at how the game was going ...and of course they just KNEW we'd lose, right??

It was probably the same group leading most of the booing also.

It's sad how spoiled and pissy our fanbase has become.

I was at the game and stayed to the end. I did see some people leaving, a few moms with kids etc, but didn't really feel that it was a mass exodus like it was portrayed on TV. I know they showed shots of empty seats, but if you watch the shots of the crowd late in the game, it stayed pretty full. We had a smattering of empty seats at start of game(west side 40 yd) but they actually filled in mid first quarter.

And when you pay for your tickets, you can do whatever the frick you want to with them. Stay, leave, boo, cheer...

That's the beauty of it.
