It's not about the pay....If he wants to one day be a HC he has to get some OC experience, he's not jumping from RB coach to HC......He'll never be a coordinator here.

I don't see why Porter would never be a coordinator at LSU. your buddy saban hired applewhite as oc at bama when he had 1 year oc
experience at rice and "maybe" 4 years exp. as a position coach. porter is over that already.

all OCs don't have the same responsibilities. for ex. some OCs are not QB coach and some OCs don't call the plays
