If Byrd or the DB deflect that ball, the game is probably over right there.

Ridiculous play. This is what hurt us and made all of the Miles fans out there. Who would ever condone a play like that???? When you can win the game with a field goal you put the ball up?

WOW!

no...2 seconds ran off the clock after he hit the ground with the ball. if the pass is deflected, playing at home, the clock stops with at least 2 seconds still showing. easy to pile on this week.

I remember this and Miles seemed confused after the game like he had thought there was still plenty of time left and not 9 seconds when the play was ran.

some of you would be so thrilled if LSU lost 10 games. youd rather have LSU lose so you could gloat and type in all caps than have LSU win the NC.

honestly, wtf is wrong with some of you?

You do realize that clock you see on your screen is not the official clock, right?

The reason it was run down to one second is because that's where the official clock was stopped.

Again, if some deflects that ball to keep in the air another split second, the game is over.

Not this again. Look, I was a Mile appologist, but I am now ready for the man to go based on the Ole Miss fiasco; however, The Auburn play was not in a catagory with what happened this past weekend. If you have time to run more than one play (which we did), and have a chance to illimate the need for your kicker to attempt a 40+ yard field goal (which is no gimee), then I think it is prudent to go for it. Nothing wrong with this play, especially since the clock should have been stopped with 3 or 4 seconds remainng. TT could have petitioned for some time to be put back on the clock, but decided against it.

That being said, the Ole Miss thing trumps the hell out of the Auburn play.

Yeah, I spend thousands of dollars every year because I want LSU to lose.

Are some of you really this dense? How can anyone equate criticism of bad coaching as "wanting LSU to lose?"

For your safety, I really hope some of you guys wear helmets.

1. Flynn broke the huddle with 18 seconds left. if time ran down it was his fault, not Miles.

2. listen to the sound of the crack when Hester picks up the blitz. he absolutely annihilates that LB.

What about the fact that he kicked a PAT afterwards to go up 6 instead of a two point try? If they house the kickoff, they kick a PAT to win, not tie.

I agree, and I hoped the other night is what would open everybody’s eyes to reality, but I am beginning to think that it is hopeless?

This is false. We would have even more time.

Are you dense? The football stays in the air longer = we get more time?

Again, the ESPN broadcast isn't the official time (just like this week.)

That doesn't even make any sense. Do you know how the desision is made to stop the clock? Do you know what happened on that play? It appears you have no clue.

Ummmmmmmm, no. That is another example of bad clock management. However that got erased from a lot of people's minds by the GREAT play by Flynn and Byrd.
