Miles lost most of his supporters Saturday night...

I have to say that he lost me early into this football season. It had been building. Clock management against Auburn in '07, trying to call a TO after and interception. Predictable play calling. And just a general uneasiness with Miles, and the way last year was handled.
But I have to admit, I was still on board going into this season with a coach on pace to easily surpass 50 wins in 5 seasons, a national championship and a great bowl record. And that allowed me to look past last season. Give him a pass if you will.
But this year has been an utter buzzkill. Watching the predictable play calling, the stoicism on the sidelines passed off as being a coach in control of the situation but really being a coach who obviously doesn't know what to do, the want to sound like a strong macho a-hole in his interviews and press conferences. There is a dark energy pervasive through the football program that needs to be attacked head on.
And I understand football wins aren't everything. I have at least some perspective here. But throwing JJ under the bus the other night was just pathetic. I respect guys like Tom Osborne and Bill Snyder. I could deal with a little less winning with a guy like that, but Miles aint that guy.
To me, Miles has just been going through the motions this year. If he wants to go to Michigan and MU will have him, fine. Good luck. Just stop messing with my Tigers.

I truly believe there aren't many Miles supporters left. I was as loyal as it gets. Saturday turned that around. It was like finding out who the wizard really was behind the curtain.

Many are in this boat. Only the true sheep are still ignoring everything.
I just hope the players get a fair shake their last 2 games.

I'm there myself. It took awhile, but it's a done deal now.
Like some others, I suspect we will be stuck with him for awhile.

look, all i want is LSU to play well and do good. i don't expect us to be 14-o every year. hell, not even every other year. just compete.
i don't see that anymore.

Have you ever been in a situation where you suddenly realize that one of your employees is not the person that you thought you'd hired? The staff has been carrying him, or he's been coasting through sheer luck, or you just assumed that his big mistakes were isolated incidences? Then you realize that you're paying 60K for him to take up office space?
That's how I feel right now.

He's making his statement.

This....Exactly this for me too. I still had faith in the guy until Saturday. I have been thinking and thinking to try and come up with an excuse as to why he did what he did...but there is no way to justify it. He cost us that game ALL BY HIMSELF!!! I'm done with him. I hate to say it, but I am.

I doubt they want him now. Them or OSU.

I tried because he was LSU's coach but I am done.
If LSU wins the SEC and/or the National Championship I'll come around but will continue to wonder when the next big blunder will occur.

This is the first that I'm hearing about the "We thought Ole Miss had 12 men on the field" scenario.

More importantly, he's lost the faith of his team.

i've gone through 4 pages of the rant the last few minutes and it amamzes me their are people here still behind him. what will it take for some people to wake up?
many of us have been speaking out against miles only to have been met with insults and personal attacks here---maybe now some of you realize now we loved LSU enough to point out the coming storm.

He's a sycophant for stating the obvious? That every 5 seconds, another 20 posts are started stating the exact same thing that the prior 20 posts stated?
