ESPN hates the Saints...

NFL live said they were going to talk about the Saints and Colts, so I stuck around through a commercial break. Merril Hoge talked about the Colts for a few minutes, then the announcer says "Alright, now let's talk about the Saints" and they cut to Trent Dilfer. He says "It's hard to argue against the Saints or Colts being the best team in the NFL, but I'll tell you who the most complete team is... the Vikings!" Then he spent the next few minutes talking about the Vikings and said they would probably make it to the SB.

This is neither surprising nor newsworthy

It's like that everywhere. Colts get mentioned but the Saints are an after thought for some reason.

Oh no, You should write them a mean letter.

I think Merril Hodge wants to sleep with Peyton Manning if you ask me - I have never seen a guy kiss arse more than this guy.

Well, It's the saints, look at Farve, superbowl ring. Vikings? Been there to the Superbowl also. Indy- Superbowl ring, They also been to the superbowl.
The Saints have never ever been there in 42 years, why should they ESPN Analyst change their tune now? NE prove that if anything you can win all the games you want but if you don't win the big one, not their time and focus.

Templars, what game did the worst officiating crew in history call? I know one of those guys FWIW.

Have you ever seen John Madden talk about Brett Favre?

So what - let them be an undefeated team flying under the radar. The Vikings are lucky to be 9 - 1 and give up a good bit of yardage.

The fricking Vikings pulled at least two wins out of their asses -- last-second bomb, missed field goal by other team -- to get to 9-1.
But the only thing I agree with Trent Dilfer on is Jared Allen: that dude's a freak. Plus, Allen's got one the corniest sack celebrations in the history of the NFL, so you know he's crazier than that mullet. But if it weren't for Allen I say Green Bay would have handed the Vikings another loss, at least in that first game. The Packers stayed with them despite Aaron Rodgers getting sacked 14 times, which happens to them every game.
We've seen the Saints' OLine dominate supposed great DLines: ie, the Giants. And we've seen it the other way around: the Dolphins. But we also saw LT Zach Strief return Sunday and the OLine keep Drew Brees upright all game.
Minnesota has been lucky to have one loss, but I'll still give it to them, they've got a great team. Honestly, though, I don't think Brett Favre will hold up 16+ games at 100%. He got pulled last Sunday for something or other. And Jared Allen? Well, the Saints have a superior line compared to the Packers and Lions.

If you think it is a lock that the Saints are going to be in the Super Bowl then you don't know football.

I never said that was the case. The Vikings obviously have a great team, but it's ridiculous to talk about nothing but the Vikings during what was being advertised as a Saints segment.

your point? we also had a game winning td taken away by a bullshite penalty in the pittsburgh game. so we should be 10-0 but whatever id rather have a loss than try to go undefeated
