damaged beyond repair.
The events of the game were bad enough, but what I can't see him recovering from this the post game interview, the post game press conference, the excuses, the misstatements, and the complete bufoonish nature of his answers.
Never have I seen this level of national abuse of an LSU coach. Don't mention Curley Hallman, because he rarely recieved national attention.

He can recover if we win the SEC next year.

Egg, that's actually my biggest fear. That will affect recruiting and respect from his players.
He lost this team in '08 and we'll see next week whether he's lost them this year.
How can a player respect him after this.
I could give you a detailed description of the trip to ARK last year and the scene that played out in the BTR airport, but I won't. Suffice it to say that there were significant problems.

The fact that now he decides to throw a player under the bus (when it wasn't the player's fault) makes it all the worse.

He can't recover. There are just certain situations where, no matter what you do from then on, you simply can't win back the support and respect you have to have. He's a dead man walking, and we just have to see how far down Alleva will let him take the program before doing what every single living soul in Louisiana knows will inevitably have to be done.

Bama will be near universal national preseason #1 next year.
Even with an SEC West title and/or SEC title, few folks expect Les to get the best of Saban here forth, with any regularity longterm...even with Louisiana's superior in-state talent.

Nope, he's through. As bad as Saturday was, it's really just the catalyst that opened the flood gates. The tension was always there. There's no stopping it, now.
Plus, we've got the scarlet letter as long as Miles is our coach. If Aleva was smart, he'd use this as a opportunity to do what is necessary. And turn this into a positive.
All eyes on Aleva.

He can't and won't. Just basing this on the precedence HE set.

the only way is if we come out and spank ARkansas. This will just be temporary. I don't think people forget about this in the long term. People still remember the Lou Tepper debacle and that was over 10 years ago.
